An organization called Protect San Benito has brought teachers, farm workers, landowners, religious leaders, business people, climate activists, and conservationists together to slow growth and protect open spaces in one of California's fastest-growing counties. This five-part series introduces the organization's volunteers and accomplishments—and the magnificent county it's working to protect.
